  1. 요셉이 ㅗ아비 얼굴에 구푸려 울며 입맞추고
  2. 그 隨從 醫師에게 命하여 ㅛ香 材料로 아비의 몸에 넣게 하매 醫師가 이스라엘에게 그대로 하되
  3. 四十日이 걸렸으니 香 材料를 넣는 데는 이 날수가 걸림이며 애굽 ㅜ사람들은 七十日 동안 그를 爲하여 哭하였더라
  4. 哭하는 期限이 지나매 요셉이 바로의 宮에 말하여 가로되 ㅠ내가 너희에게 恩惠를 입었으면 請컨대 바로의 귀에 告하기를
  5. 우리 아버지가 나로 盟誓하게 하여 이르되 내가 죽거든 으가나안 땅에 내가 파서 둔 墓室에 나를 葬事하라 하였나니 나로 올라가서 내가 다시 오리이다 하라 하였더니

  1. Joseph threw himself upon his father and wept over him and kissed him.
  2. Then Joseph directed the physicians in his service to embalm his father Israel. So the physicians embalmed him,
  3. taking a full forty days, for that was the time required for embalming. And the Egyptians mourned for him seventy days.
  4. When the days of mourning had passed, Joseph said to Pharaoh's court, "If I have found favor in your eyes, speak to Pharaoh for me. Tell him,
  5. 'My father made me swear an oath and said, "I am about to die; bury me in the tomb I dug for myself in the land of Canaan." Now let me go up and bury my father; then I will return.'"

  2. 요셉이 自己 아비를 葬事하러 올라가니 바로의 모든 臣下와 바로 宮의 長老들과 애굽 땅의 모든 長老와
  3. 요셉의 온 집과 그 兄弟들과 그 아비의 집이 그와 함께 올라가고 그들의 어린 아이들과 羊떼와 소떼만 이고센 땅에 남겼으며
  4. 兵車와 騎兵이 요셉을 따라 올라가니 그 떼가 甚히 컸더라
  5. 그들이 요단江 건너便 아닷 打作마당에 이르러 거기서 ㅐ크게 呼哭하고 哀痛하며 요셉이 아비를 爲하여 七日 동안 ㄱ哀哭하였더니

  1. Pharaoh said, "Go up and bury your father, as he made you swear to do."
  2. So Joseph went up to bury his father. All Pharaoh's officials accompanied him--the dignitaries of his court and all the dignitaries of Egypt--
  3. besides all the members of Joseph's household and his brothers and those belonging to his father's household. Only their children and their flocks and herds were left in Goshen.
  4. Chariots and horsemen also went up with him. It was a very large company.
  5. When they reached the threshing floor of Atad, near the Jordan, they lamented loudly and bitterly; and there Joseph observed a seven-day period of mourning for his father.
  1. 그 땅 居民 가나안 百姓들이 아닷 마당의 哀痛을 보고 가로되 이는 애굽 사람의 큰 哀痛이라 하였으므로 그 땅 이름을 아벨미스라임이라 하였으니 곧 요단江 건너便이더라
  2. 야곱의 아들들이 父命을 좇아 行하여
  3. ㄴ그를 가나안 땅으로 메어다가 마므레 앞 막벨라 밭 窟에 葬事하였으니 이는 아브라함이 ㄷ헷 族屬 에브론에게 밭과 함께 사서 所有 埋葬地를 삼은 곳이더라
  4. 요셉이 아비를 葬事한 後에 自己 兄弟와 護喪軍과 함께 애굽으로 돌아왔더라
  5. 요셉의 兄弟들이 그 아비가 죽었음을 보고 말하되 요셉이 或時 우리를 미워하여 우리가 그에게 行한 모든 惡을 다 갚지나 아니할까 하고

  1. When the Canaanites who lived there saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, "The Egyptians are holding a solemn ceremony of mourning." That is why that place near the Jordan is called Abel Mizraim.
  2. So Jacob's sons did as he had commanded them:
  3. They carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave in the field of Machpelah, near Mamre, which Abraham had bought as a burial place from Ephron the Hittite, along with the field.
  4. After burying his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, together with his brothers and all the others who had gone with him to bury his father.
  5. When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "What if Joseph holds a grudge against us and pays us back for all the wrongs we did to him?"
  1. 요셉에게 말을 傳하여 가로되 當身의 아버지가 돌아가시기 前에 命하여 이르시기를
  2. 너희는 이같이 요셉에게 이르라 네 兄들이 네게 惡을 行하였을지라도 이제 바라건대 그 허물과 罪를 容恕하라 하셨다 하라 하셨나니 ㄹ當身의 아버지의 하나님의 종들의 罪를 이제 容恕하소서 하매 요셉의 그 말을 들을 때에 울었더라
  3. 그 兄들이 또 親히 와서 요셉의 앞에 ㅁ엎드려 가로되 우리는 當身의 종이니이다
  4. 요셉이 그들에게 이르되 두려워 마소서 ㅂ내가 하나님을 代身하리이까
  5. 當身들은 나를 害하려 하였으나 ㅅ하나님은 그것을 善으로 바꾸사 오늘과 같이 萬民의 生命을 救援하게 하시려 하셨나니

  1. So they sent word to Joseph, saying, "Your father left these instructions before he died:
  2. 'This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.' Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father." When their message came to him, Joseph wept.
  3. His brothers then came and threw themselves down before him. "We are your slaves," they said.
  4. But Joseph said to them, "Don't be afraid. Am I in the place of God?
  5. You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
  1. 當身들은 두려워 마소서 ㅇ내가 當身들과 當身들의 子女를 기르리이다 하고 그들을 ㅈ懇曲한 말로 慰勞하였더라
  2. 요셉이 그 아비의 家族과 함께 애굽에 居하여 一百 十歲를 살며
  3. ㅊ에브라임의 子孫 三代를 보았으며 므낫세의 아들 ㅋ마길의 아들들도 요셉의 ㅌ膝下에서 養育되었더라
  4. 요셉이 그 兄弟에게 이르되 나는 죽으나 ㅍ하나님이 너희를 眷顧하시고 너희를 이 땅에서 引導하여 내사 ㅎ아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 盟誓하신 땅에 이르게 하시리라 하고
  5. ㅏ요셉이 또 이스라엘 子孫에게 盟誓시켜 이르기를 하나님이 丁寧 너희를 眷顧하시리니 너희는 여기서 내 骸骨을 메고 올라가겠다 하라 하였더라

  1. So then, don't be afraid. I will provide for you and your children." And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.
  2. Joseph stayed in Egypt, along with all his father's family. He lived a hundred and ten years
  3. and saw the third generation of Ephraim's children. Also the children of Makir son of Manasseh were placed at birth on Joseph's knees.
  4. Then Joseph said to his brothers, "I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."
  5. And Joseph made the sons of Israel swear an oath and said, "God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up from this place."

  1. So Joseph died at the age of a hundred and ten. And after they embalmed him, he was placed in a coffin in Egypt.
